UNIT 5: AT THE AQUARIUM

En esta unidad debemos ser capaces de:

Entender el tema de la unidad; identificando y nombrando vocabulario relacionado con la vida marina.       

Realizar pequeños intercambios comunicativos (diálogos y juegos), para practicar las estructuras de la unidad, las expresiones y el vocabulario.

Aprender y cantar una canción (We’re going to the beach, hurray!).

Escuchar, leer y actuar la historia de la unidad (At the water world) practicando las  estructuras claves de la misma: She saw a shark/She didn’t see a starfish.

Leer y comprender textos: folletos publicitarios (leaflet).
 Realizar actividades escritas; escribir un folleto (write a leaflet).

Aprender e interactuar con conocimientos para la vida diaria, como la importancia de hacer ejercicio y protegerse del sol convenientemente (Getting exercise and safety in the sun).

Relacionar el inglés con otros temas interdisciplinarios, como aprender sobre especies de peces, así como las diferencias entre peces de agua dulce y salada, (Science: fish), trasladando el lenguaje del aula a un contexto de vida real.

Realizar un proyecto; dibujar y describir unas peceras (make fish tanks).

Decir un chant para practicar la pronunciación los sonidos vocales  /aυ/, /ei/, /eə/.  Aprender como se forman ciertos plurales irregulares (Irregular plurals).

Repasar y reflexionar sobre el trabajo realizado. Autoevaluar nuestro propio progreso.
