Queridas familias: 

Estamos en la Unidad 5, Can I Help You? En ella aprenderá vocabulario de animales de granja (horse, cow, sheep, hen, pig, rabbit) y los conceptos 

“strong” y “weak”. También practicará frases sencillas como: Have you got (strong legs)? 

Yes, I have. / No, I haven’t. Can you (run)? Yes, I can. / No, I can’t.

En el cuento del Big Book, Hedgehog está buscando a sus amigos en el bosque para 

ofrecerles su ayuda, pero se da cuenta de que es distinto a ellos porque no puede correr, ni saltar, ni volar. Greenman lo ayuda a ver que es especial por tener unas fuertes espinas y que puede ayudar a sus amigos a su manera. En este cuento, los niños 

aprenden que todos somos diferentes pero especiales, mientras repasan el vocabulario 

y las estructuras de la unidad.

También aprendereremos a cantar y realizar las acciones de la canción de la 

unidad. Esta es la letra de la canción de acción de la Unidad 5, I’m a little bird.

En el cuento del Big Book, Sam y Nico están jugando a la pelota en el zoo y la pierden. 

Greenman habla con los animales para ayudarlos a encontrarla. Pero Sam y Nico se dan 

cuentan de que los animales del zoo están aburridos hasta que empiezan a jugar juntos 

con la pelota. En este cuento, los alumnos aprenden el valor de la empatía mientras 

repasan el vocabulario y las estructuras de la unidad.

También aprenderemos a cantar y realizar las acciones de la canción de la unidad. Esta es la letra de la canción de acción de la Unidad 5, Animal Game.
